Artisan Project textiles celebrate the artistry of indigenous weaving and the land that’s so sacred to the process. Every piece our artisans create is handwoven on ancestral looms with love, dedication and care. The result is a truly collaborative collection, that’s consciously designed and entirely unique.
AP designs use contemporary colorways and motifs, blended with age-old techniques and patterns. Our blankets, towels and custom-made rugs are all produced in collaboration with weavers in Fez and the Middle Atlas Mountains.
Made the same way for millennia, Moroccan textiles were woven for loved ones, providing natural warmth and shelter from the elements and embellished with ancient symbols to offer spiritual protection. We bring this essence and emotional spirit to every AP design.
Using raw cotton and the finest hand-spooled wool, we reinterpret Berber symbols in our textiles, reflecting textures, colours and patterns from Morocco’s natural landscapes, blended with vivid hues. Picture the red skies and pale sands of the desert with earthy greens and cool blues of rocky mountainous terrain.

You’ll find Artisan Project textiles in exclusive Moroccan boutiques at Jardin Marjorelle, Marrakech and Jardin des Biehn, Fez. You can also buy pieces from our studios in Fez and Tangier. AP works directly with trade buyers globally and our pieces are stocked in exclusive stores around the world.
AP also works on custom designs and production for hospitality projects - hotels and restaurants - interior designers and architects.
